The Challenge

A Saudi healthcare group operating 14 clinics needed a patient self-service portal to reduce front-desk load by enabling online appointment booking, medical record access, and teleconsultation scheduling. The platform had to comply with Saudi MOH digital health standards and NCA ECC cybersecurity controls — with patient data stored exclusively on AWS Bahrain (me-south-1).

The Solution

TECHTIMIZE delivered a React 18 + Node.js platform on AWS EKS with field-level encryption (AWS KMS) for all PHI fields, SAML-based SSO connecting the hospital's existing Active Directory, and a real-time appointment engine using Socket.io. The architecture achieved NCA ECC compliance with automated daily config scans via AWS Config, WAF rules for OWASP Top 10 protection, and a quarterly pen-test programme.
